Hi Alex, so glad you enjoyed the article and thanks for letting me know :)

I wrote it because when I was suffering, the advice I got was “just stop”, but for various reasons that just wasn’t possible.

Making these small changes to cope with my experience of burnout made a big difference. And I hope that writing about them might help others feel better equipped should it happen to them.

As you rightly point out, we don’t have to wait until reaching burnout to take measures to reduce our stress. Being in nature, prioritising based on what’s truly important, letting some things go, sleeping more…breathing…aaaah.

These are the things that help us reclaim our power over our lives, one step at a time.
